Q: Can I have my revenue checks direct deposited to my bank account?
A: At this time, North Fork is not offering direct deposit. At such time as this service becomes available, you will be notified by mail.
Address Changes
Q: How do I change my mailing address?
A: Address changes must be received in writing to be processed and must include the following information: your owner number, name, old address, new address, last 4 digits of your social security/tax ID number and signature of the account holder. If the account is a joint account, both account holders must sign the request. A form is available to expedite these requests:

Q: I recently got married/divorced, how do I get my name changed in your records?
A: Please follow the instructions on our Name and Address Change Form and send it to us with a copy of the official document granting your name change (marriage certificate, final decree of divorce, etc.) Please do not send original documents. A form is available to expedite these requests:
Changes of Ownership
Q: The interest owner has passed away, what do I need to do now?
A: North Fork will need the proper documentation outlining the parties inheriting the interest of the deceased party. The best way for rights to be secured is through in-state probate of the estate of the deceased party. Once probate is completed, the Final Order/Decree of Distribution should be recorded in the county where the property is located and a copy of the recorded document should be forwarded to North Fork with W-9s for each inheriting party. If there is no Last Will and Testament or the Will is not being probated, please follow the instructions noted for completing an affidavit of heirship in our Affidavit of Heirship Guidelines below:

Q: How do I notify North Fork that I sold/acquired an interest?

Lost or Stolen Checks
Q: What should I do if I do not receive a check that was issued to me?
A: If you have not received your check and have waited 15 business days from the date the check as originally mailed, please contact our office to process a void of the original check and re-issue the funds to you on the next available check write date. Once we void your check, please do not attempt to cash it. The check will be voided in our system and will no longer be honored when presented for payment.
